What is the Emapta Club Launch?

The Emapta Club Launch is an event organized by Emapta Engagement Committee to introduce and promote the various interest groups available within the company. It is an opportunity for employees to learn about these groups and find ones that align with their interests.

When and where is the Emapta Club Launch happening?

The first Emapta Club Day took place on July 7, 2023 during the celebration of Emapta’s 13th Founding Anniversary. The second batch of new clubs will be launched on February 23, 2024 at 11AM PHT and 9:00PM PHT. We have prepared snacks at our SFS Ortigas, PNB Makati and NTB Baguio sites. On this event, we will also be launching our Emapta Lifestyle Perks Partners so expect some of these merchant booths in the said sites, too.

What are the benefits of joining an interest group?

Joining an interest group can have several benefits. It allows you to connect with like-minded colleagues, pursue your passions, enhance your skills, promote work-life balance, and build a stronger sense of community within the company.

How can I participate in the Emapta Club Launch?

All EMAPTA employees are welcome to participate. Simply attend the event during the designated time and explore the different interest groups available. There are available booths on site for registration and virtual event that you can join online.

I am a new hire/ I missed the registration period during the launch, can I still register?

Membership registration is open all year round, you may access the registration form of your chosen club/s anytime. However, induction and orientation of new club members are held monthly every 2nd week of the month. The club moderators will be in contact with you for this.

Can I join more than one Club?

Absolutely! You are welcome to join multiple clubs that align with your interests.

Are there any restrictions on who can join an interest group?

No, there are no restrictions on joining an interest group but memberships are on a first come first served basis to maintain the quality of engagement within the clubs.

What are the requirements to join a club?

You only need to be an Emapta employee and fill out the registration form made available on the Emapta Club Day.

How will I know if I am selected as a member of the club I registered in?

Joining an interest group can have several benefits. It allows you to connect with like-minded colleagues, pursue your passions, enhance your skills, promote work-life balance, and build a stronger sense of community within the company.

When will the first club meeting be held?

Each club will have its own schedule for their first general assembly. Once successfully registered and accepted, you will receive communications from your club leaders regarding the first meeting details and other activities or instructions.

How often do clubs meet?

The frequency of club meetings varies depending on the group. Some may meet weekly, biweekly, monthly, or based on specific event schedules. Details about meeting frequency can be obtained from the club leaders.

What types of activities/events do interest groups organize?

Interest groups organize a wide range of activities and events based on their respective themes. Each group determines its own activities based on the interests of its members. Sample activities include, but not limited to, online discussions, workshops, practice sessions, tournaments, charity drives, etc.

Can I suggest a new interest group if it doesn't currently exist?

Absolutely! We invite you to play a pivotal role in shaping Emapta Clubs. By taking part in our survey, you have the opportunity to influence the selection of the additional interest-based clubs we'll launch. Can I form my own club?

You can submit a formal proposal outlining the club's purpose, activities, expected membership, benefits, and proposed leadership. The Emapta Club Committee will review and assess the proposals based on viability, alignment with company values, and available resources, and they will review the feasibility and interest among employees.

Do I need to pay to join an interest group?

Membership in interest groups is free of charge. However, there might be specific instances where certain activities or events organized by the groups require participants to contribute or cover costs. This information will be communicated by the respective interest group leaders.

Can I participate in the interest groups without attending events or activities?

While attending events and activities is encouraged, participation in the interest group is not limited to these. You can actively engage in discussions, contribute to communication channels, and provide input and suggestions for the group's growth and improvement.

Can I participate in an interest group if I work remotely or at a different office location?

There are a lot of ways for you to participate in your selected interest groups like being active in your communications channel, providing ideas for your activities, and be actively engaged in the group discussions.es is encouraged, participation in the interest group is not limited to these. How can I express my feedback, opinions, questions and suggestions re my club or its members?

Emapta values the input and suggestions of its employees. Members are encouraged to provide ideas, suggestions, and feedback regarding club activities, initiatives, and improvements. Suggestions can be shared with the club coordinators or communicated through designated channels.
